The Grace of Les Miserables "The Long Game of Being Saved" Rev. Ross Baker
Scripture: Ephesians 2:8-10.
The story of Jean Valjean is a powerful one because it reminds us how "grace" can be well received. Valjean, a hardened criminal, has his life completely changed in a moment of grace. Grace that would be that starting point of complete transformation that would take place over the course of his life. I wonder, what does it look like to offer grace in a world that seems so much "black and white?" What does it look like to respond to the grace when it is offered, and how might the character of Jean Valjean inform our personal relationships?
